I prefer sturgian heavy spearmen or imperial menavalitons for countering cav, and you could replace your palatine guard and legionaries for Fians and still do fine in open field battle. WitrynaI'm using imperial light armor. In my honest opinion 2h sword or polearm cause way more destruction on foot than the bow. Polearms are safer due to the range and you can make a good variety of them but 2h axes and 2h hammers have massive cleave so you can run up and sometimes kill 3-5 enemies in a single swing.
