WebIf you have a scanner that can show you PL tones that may help. I usually let my bearcat 996T do a scan on the GMRS channels to grab any PL tones. If the repeater is legal it must transmit the station ID every 15 minutes. GMRS repeaters are not required to transmit an ID only the licensed users are every 15 mins.
