You are allowed to bring 20 dinos to any boss fight (40 for the tek cave but only 20 will fight the boss). there are 3 difficulty levels: Gamma (easy), Beta (medium) and Alpha (hard). Gamma is the easiest and is considered the "canon" difficulty.
